First snow of Autumn

Streets suddenly look narrow.

Trees laden with snow.

In strong defiance

of fall, Cosmos flowers dance

in the cool fall air.

Distant But Distinct

As the fiery leaves

fall off, a silence descends.

A rainy summer,

Majestic mountains
repose in blankets of clouds.

Sunflowers kissing
in the wind. Alive, carefree.

The Apricot tree,
